James Andrew Huff, Esq. – Principal Attorney

James Andrew Huff is the principal attorney and owner of Huff Immigration Law. He is an immigration law attorney, and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Huff provides excellent service and quality legal work for his clients. He reviews all of his clients’ options in detail to design the best possible solutions. He likes assisting his clients to achieve their goals quickly and easily.

Mr. Huff received his Juris Doctor with high honors from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 2009, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in International Development from the University of California at Berkeley in 2000. After law school Mr. Huff worked as an Immigration Associate at Johnson Immigration Law.

During law school and as a graduate fellow, Mr. Huff worked at the Rutgers Civil Practice Clinic in Camden, New Jersey providing legal assistance to low income clients for wills, deeds, consumer protection, and social security issues. Mr. Huff was president of the International Law Society and participated in a number of pro bono programs including bankruptcy, financial literacy, election protection, and mediation. Mr. Huff also received a certificate as a Trained New Jersey State Mediator and performed pro bono mediations for the New Jersey Superior Court. Mr. Huff also won an academic award for the best student note published in the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion.

Mr. Huff has experience with many different cultures. He has traveled extensively and lived in the Czech Republic, Burkina Faso, and Bulgaria, where he was a Peace Corps volunteer from 2003 to 2005. He speaks Spanish, German, Bulgarian, and has studied Arabic, Russian, and French.

Mr. Huff is admitted to the Maryland Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.
